Does the satellite earth station need to do the electromagnetic environment test?

In accordance with Article 22 of the Regulations on Radio Administration of the People's Republic of China, the satellite radio frequencies planned by the International Telecommunication Union for use in China in accordance with international rules shall be uniformly allocated to the users by the national radio regulatory authority.

Applications for the use of non-programmed satellite radio frequencies of the International Telecommunication Union shall be made through the national radio regulatory authority in a unified manner. The State radio regulatory authority shall promptly organize relevant units to carry out necessary domestic coordination, and carry out international declaration, coordination and registration in accordance with international rules.

In accordance with Article 23 of the Regulations on Radio Administration of the People's Republic of China, where the establishment of a satellite communication network requires the use of satellite radio frequencies, in addition to meeting the conditions stipulated in Article 15 of these Regulations, information such as the space radio station to be used, satellite orbital position and satellite coverage should also be provided, as well as certification materials for completing domestic coordination and carrying out necessary international coordination.

In accordance with Article 24 of the Regulations on Radio Administration of the People's Republic of China, the use of satellite radio frequencies of other countries and regions to conduct business shall comply with the provisions on the management of satellite radio frequencies in China, and complete the coordination with the satellite radio frequencies declared in China.

To construct a satellite project in accordance with Article 25 of the Radio Administration Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the feasibility of the satellite radio frequency to be used shall be demonstrated at the project planning stage; For satellite projects approved by relevant departments, the satellite radio frequency to be used shall be determined in consultation with the national radio regulatory authority during the project planning stage.

In accordance with Article 62 of the Regulations on Radio Administration of the People's Republic of China for the construction of radio observatories, meteorological radar stations, satellite measurement and control (navigation) stations, airports and other projects requiring special protection of the electromagnetic environment, the project construction unit shall conduct electromagnetic compatibility analysis and demonstration of the site selection before determining the site selection of the project, and solicit the opinions of the radio regulatory authority; Without electromagnetic compatibility analysis and demonstration, or without soliciting and adopting the opinion of the radio regulatory authority, shall not be put forward to the radio regulatory authority to eliminate harmful interference requirements.
